My guess is between 5 and 10 years from now (probably closer to 10).

I also forgot to add the option of "never", but I figure somebody at some point in my lifetime will take that chance again, especially if the SPHL keeps getting better on the ice and can make their latest expansions work for a couple of years before expanding further.

I apologize for the late notice, but this just came to my attention. Yesterday, November 11th, marked the 50th anniversary of the first professional hockey game to be played in Greensboro at the (then new) Greensboro Coliseum. To mark this occasion, a casual three day celebration has been planned that will involve 'get-togethers' with former players from the various teams that span our hockey heritage. Heard an interesting rumor this week that the Checkers were coming to Greensboro and that the Hurricanes would be moving an affiliate to Charlotte next year. Has anyone heard anything likr this ? It was a fairly reliable source.
